The Solar Division markets hot water systems for domestic and commercial applications. Its core focus is on the 2 brands of solar hot water system it carries. Edwards Solar Water Heater works on the natural convection phenomenon of hot water rises and cold water sinks. Thermomax, on the other hand, uses Evacuated Heat-Pipe Solar Collectors to convert solar radiation into heat which is transmitted to the water. The applications of the hot water generated range from bathing, cooking, washing, heating of pools and tubs, to many others. In view of the abundant solar energy freely available in the tropics and the rising electricity costs, we believe that harnessing the solar energy is definitely the best way in meeting today’s energy needs. This will not only benefit the wounded global environment but is cost effective to the customers as well. Nonethless, for customers with structural constraints, Connections do carry a range of electric, oil and gas powered hot water systems for commercial purposes as an alternative.
